Honey Chipotle Chicken
This Honey Chipotle Chicken recipe combines the sweet and sticky flavors of honey with the smoky and spicy kick of chipotle sauce. Marinating the chicken in the delicious blend of honey, chipotle sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, and spices ensures each bite is packed with incredible flavors. Grilling the chicken adds a nice char and smokiness, while keeping it juicy and tender.
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons chipotle sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, chipotle sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, minced garlic, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
- Place the chicken breasts in a zip-top bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and massage it gently to ensure the chicken is well coated. Let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing any excess marinade to drip off.
- Grill the chicken for 6-8 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the chicken is cooked through, juicy, and slightly charred.
- Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Serve the honey chipotle chicken garnished with fresh cilantro. Enjoy!
About Sperry Honey
We really hope you enjoyed this recipe. This might be a long shot, but if you're ever in need of some premium honey for your recipes, you can always order some of our honey here. Many people don't know this, but there's a solid chance that the imported honey on your grocery store shelves contains high fructose corn syrup and artificial sweeteners. Honey producers do this to cut costs, which is gross, unhealthy, and disgusting. Our honey? Every bottle is made right here at our small apiary in North Dakota, and it's all 100% real farm honey. Appreciate you reading, and have a wonderful day :)
