Savor the exquisite blend of sweet and savory with this Honey Garlic Chicken. Succulent chicken breasts are pan-seared to perfection and coated in a delectable honey, soy, garlic, and ginger glaze.
Ingredients
-
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
-
Salt and pepper to taste
-
1/2 cup honey
-
1/4 cup soy sauce
-
3 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
-
1 tablespoon olive oil
Directions
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Pour the honey garlic sauce over the cooked chicken in the skillet. Allow the sauce to simmer and coat the chicken for an additional 2-3 minutes, ensuring the chicken is well-coated.
Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions on top for garnish if desired. Serve the honey garlic chicken over rice or with your favorite side dishes.
About Sperry Honey
We really hope you enjoyed this recipe. This might be a long shot, but if you're ever in need of some premium honey for your recipes, you can always order some of our honey here. Many people don't know this, but there's a solid chance that the imported honey on your grocery store shelves contains high fructose corn syrup and artificial sweeteners. Honey producers do this to cut costs, which is gross, unhealthy, and disgusting. Our honey? Every bottle is made right here at our small apiary in North Dakota, and it's all 100% real farm honey. Appreciate you reading, and have a wonderful day :)
