These honey glazed baby carrots are a delightful side dish that adds a touch of sweetness to any meal. The carrots are cooked until tender and coated in a luscious honey glaze.
Ingredients
- 1 lb baby carrots
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Directions
1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
2. Add the baby carrots to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Drizzle the honey over the carrots and stir to coat evenly.
Season with salt and black pepper.
Reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet, and simmer for 10-15 minutes or until the carrots are tender.
Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
7. Serve the honey glazed baby carrots as a side dish or as a topping for salads or grain bowls.
