These Spicy Honey Glazed Chicken Wings are the perfect combination of sweet and heat. Marinated in a flavorful blend of honey, hot sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, garlic, and ginger, these wings are baked to crispy perfection and then coated in a sticky hot honey glaze.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the honey, hot sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, salt, pepper, and vegetable oil. Mix well.
- Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss until they are fully coated in the marinade.
- Place the wings onto the prepared baking sheet and spread them out in a single layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are cooked through and crispy.
- While the wings are baking, heat the remaining marinade in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring it to a simmer and cook for 3-5 minutes until it thickens slightly.
- Once the wings are done, brush them with the hot honey glaze. Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions over the wings for garnish.
- Serve the spicy honey glazed chicken wings hot and enjoy!
About Sperry Honey
We really hope you enjoyed this recipe. This might be a long shot, but if you're ever in need of some premium honey for your recipes, you can always order some of our honey here. Many people don't know this, but there's a solid chance that the imported honey on your grocery store shelves contains high fructose corn syrup and artificial sweeteners. Honey producers do this to cut costs, which is gross, unhealthy, and disgusting. Our honey? Every bottle is made right here at our small apiary in North Dakota, and it's all 100% real farm honey. Appreciate you reading, and have a wonderful day :)
