Honey Walnut Shrimp

Ingredients
Candied Walnuts
- ½ cup water
- ¼ cup pure honey
- ½ cup walnut pieces
Honey Sauce
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp pure honey
- 1 tbsp sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Fried Shrimp
- 1 lb jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ½ cup cornstarch
- 2 cups vegetable or peanut oil (for frying)

Make the Candied Walnuts
- In a small pot over medium heat, bring the water and honey to a boil.
- Add the walnuts and simmer for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent burning.
- Transfer the walnuts to a parchment-lined tray to cool.

Prepare the Honey Sauce
- In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, honey, sweetened condensed milk, and lemon juice.
- Set aside until ready to toss with the shrimp.

- In a medium bowl, season the shrimp with salt and pepper.
- Sprinkle with cornstarch and toss to coat evenly.
- Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat (about 350°F).
